{Video} The Art Of Setting A Goal For Success 1 of 4

Everywhere we look, there’s something about goals. We all got ’em. I know for sure you do – otherwise you wouldn’t land on this page. It’s awesome to have goals. They keep us moving forward toward a better life. But did you know there’s a way in which to set them that increases your rate of success, like, a lot?

There is. I’m sharing the exact process I use with my clients in this special four-vide series that helps them get clear on what they want to accomplish, how they’re going to accomplish them and how to program yourself at an unconscious level to achieve success with your goals.

In the first of four videos of this series, I outline SMART Goals. There’s a good chance that you’ve heard of them especially if you have a military or business background. However, I invite you to watch this video even if you’ve heard of them before because I add a few special somethin’ somethin’s to the mix. Grab a pen and paper and take notes. Then carve some time out to do the exercises.

As promised, here is what SMART Goals stands for:

S: Is it specific and simple?

M: Is it measurable and meaningful?

A: Can you act as if you have it now; is it achievable and is it good for all areas of your life?

R: Is it realistic & responsible?

T: Is there a time limit and does it move you toward what you want?

No matter where you are on your journey as an artist or creative, your continued progress requires the consistent setting and evaluating of your goals. Remember, setting your SMART Goals is only one part of a strategy to optimize your success. And the more you use it, the more it works.
